About This Site

Students at Texas A&M-Commerce, like public school and university students everywhere, are doing their classes through an online system. At the same time, citizens in an around Commerce and Hunt County are looking or information about how to best handle the ongoing COVID-19 incident. From challenges sometimes come opportunities. That's where you come in.

As part of the study of the media, students in Mass Media & Journalism work with KETR Radio, Mane Media TV, and the East Texan newspaper and East Texan Online. This site connects all those entities. As students who are engaged with student media are compelled to stay home, yet still research and report about what's going on, they need to connect with areas citizens in a newly unique way.
